Fever

Fever is a change in body temperature above the normal range of 36-37 C, This is usually caused by infection,  however, can be different from person to person. Flucutants in temperature throughout the day may also occur.

A viral or bacterial infection can trigger an immune system response that increases the body’s temperature to a higher level. This can make you feel unwell,  hot and sweaty, shivering, or flushed face.

There are many types of causes for fever such as cold & flu, COVID-19, tonsillitis, and urinary tract infection.  A mild fever may resolve in a few days, if it persists you should visit us here at urgent care for a medical review.
