No, appointments are not necessary. Walk-ins are welcome. However, we offer online bookings for your convenience - reserve a time to see our clinical team that best suits the needs of you and your family. Contact us

No you don’t need a referral. You can simply book online or walk in to our clinic - whichever is more convenient for you. However if you have been seen by another clinician, we would recommend that clinician making a referral by phoning us, and scheduling an appointment time that best suits your needs.

Yes and No. Our expert clinical team can handle any emergency, but sometimes hospital is a safer option, in which case we can let you know, and help get you there safely.  Services offered

Yes, children are very welcome at Heal. Our team are mostly parents and understand how stressful it can be to have a sick child. We also have extra large family rooms for when you can’t leave the family behind at home. Services offered

The cost per visit is $295 and a Medicare rebate is available to all Medicare card holders. There are NO additional costs for X-ray imaging, pathology services, procedures or devices. All DVA Gold Card holders with a GP referral will not have any out of pocket expenses whatsoever. Specialist care

Yes, at Heal Specialist Urgent Care Everything is under one roof to make it easy for you. We have on-site X-ray provided by Hunter Imaging Group for convenient and rapid diagnosis, and our expert team can read these in real time. We also have a radiologist who provides a formal report on the same business day.  Services offered

Yes, at Heal Specialist Urgent Care Everything is under one roof to make it easy for you. We have on-site pathology facilities provided by Laverty Pathology with some results available within 10 minutes. We can also send blood tests to the local laboratory for formal testing, and we also do respiratory swabs and COVID PCR. Services offered

Yes, it is! Our multidisciplinary team is made up of Emergency Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses and Allied Health. They have years of experience in dealing with all types of emergencies, and all age groups. Here to help

An Emergency Physician is a specialist in emergency medicine - they are Fellows of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (FACEM), which is a qualification given to doctors who have demonstrated excellence in the field of emergency medicine and completed the extensive training program.  Conveniently you can pull up outside our entry on Union Street, and we have 9 dedicated patient parks (including mobility parking) in our carpark off Union Street. There is also plenty of street parking available close to the clinic.

You can simply call us on arrival 13 0009 0009 and one of our friendly concierge team can assist you from your car into our clinic.

We will make sure your GP is aware you have visited us by sending them a letter following your visit to update them on the care that you have received. And, they are more than welcome to communicate with our clinical team to answer any questions they may have. Our care promise
